[00:00.45]What My Cat Did|[00:03.31] One day I was sitting in a chair drinking a cup of tea.|[00:06.67] My cat came into the room and sat on my lap.|[00:09.72] She was quite content, and she sat there purring.|[00:13.45] My cat likes to drink water, and sometimes she drinks milk.|[00:18.06] I would never give her tea to drink.|[00:20.55] Cats just don't drink tea.|[00:23.10] We were sitting there quietly when suddenly my cat stood up.|[00:27.20] She was looking at something on the floor.|[00:30.00] She crouched down low and got ready to pounce.|[00:33.58] I saw what she was looking at.|[00:35.82] It was a huge centipede.|[00:38.37] I think that centipedes are ugly.|[00:41.04] They have many legs, and they move very fast.|[00:43.97] I would hate to have one crawl over me.|[00:46.47] My cat jump to the floor.|[00:48.94] And she run over the centipede.|[00:51.80] She was incredibly fast.|[00:53.23] I was surprised that she caught the centipede.|[00:56.22] She put her paw on it,|[00:57.53] and then she reached down and ate the centipede.|[01:01.14] The centipede must not have tasted very good.|[01:04.69] My cat got a funny look on her face,|[01:07.05] and she looked like she was trying to get|[01:08.79] a bad taste out of her mouth.|[01:10.97] I was thinking that I would be sick if I ate a centipede.|[01:14.45] My cat looked at me and jumped back up in my chair.|[01:18.62] She stuck her face in my teacup and took a big drink of tea.|[01:23.23] I was shocked.|[01:25.77] I had never seen a cat drink tea before.|[01:28.70] I think that the centipede must have tasted so bad|[01:31.99] that my cat just needed something to wash|[01:34.30] the taste out of her mouth .|[01:36.47] Guess what?|[01:38.71] I didn't finish my tea.|[01:40.70] I threw it out and washed out the cup.|[01:42.88] My cat has never had a drink of tea since that day.|[01:47.17] She has also never eaten another centipede.|[01:50.22] If a centipede walks by,|[01:52.15] she just pretends that she doesn't see it.
