[00:00.30]If I Found a Magic Lamp|[00:05.08] If I was walking down the beach on day,|[00:07.00] and I happened to bump my toe on a magic lamp,|[00:09.87] I would pick it up and rub it.|[00:12.54] If it was a real magic lamp|[00:16.27] (but I don't believe that there really is a magic lamp),|[00:19.20] a genie would pop out in a cloud of smoke,|[00:21.93] and he would call me master.|[00:25.35] He would say that he would grant me three wishes.|[00:30.02] I would have to think very hard about those wishes|[00:32.94] because I wouldn't want to waste them.|[00:36.92] I don't think I'd want millions of dollars.|[00:40.78] Money doesn't buy happiness, or so they say.|[00:46.13] I might wish for good health,|[00:48.06] because if your health isn't good|[00:49.93] you won't be able to enjoy anything.|[00:53.78] Some people might wish for beauty,|[00:56.02] but beauty is only skin deep.|[00:59.57] Some people would wish for a mansion,|[01:02.80] or a beautiful car or a big boat.|[01:06.85] I don't want any of those things.|[01:10.58] Some people would want fame.|[01:14.37] Some people would want talent.|[01:17.92] Some people would wish for happiness.|[01:21.65] That might be a good thing to wish for.|[01:25.26] Yes, maybe I'd wish for health and happiness,|[01:28.82] but what would my third wish be?|[01:32.18] I could wish for something enormous, something global.|[01:36.72] I could wish for world peace.|[01:40.26] That would be a wonderful thing|[01:42.19] if somebody could grant me that.|[01:45.30] Yes, that would probably be my third wish.|[01:49.59] It's too bad there aren't any genies inside magic lamps.|[01:54.26] I won't get my three wishes.|[01:58.74] I can still work toward getting my wishes.|[02:02.66] I can eat well and exercise to stay healthy.|[02:07.07] I can be involved with a lot of things|[02:08.94] and be with my friends to stay happy.|[02:12.80] I can volunteer my time to different organizations|[02:16.03] to help achieve world peace.|[02:19.39] I can do my fair share in my community to help others.|[02:23.99] That's how I can get my three wishes,|[02:26.54] not through a magic lamp.|[02:30.09] I can only get what I want|[02:31.65] through self-determination and hard work.|[02:35.38] That is the key to getting your wishes fulfilled.
