Something smells good!|[00:04.87] My friend's mom is making cookies.|[00:06.99] They are chocolate chip, my favourite!|[00:09.35] I think I'll go home and ask my mom|[00:11.78] if we can make cookies, too.|[00:13.02] I run all the way home and rush through the door.|[00:15.63] I yell, "Mom, Mom!"|[00:17.25] She comes out from her bedroom, her eyes wide.|[00:19.80] "What?" she answers, a little worried.|[00:22.10] I breathlessly ask if we can please,|[00:24.03] pretty please, make cookies.|[00:26.02] She smiles and says, "I guess so."|[00:28.20] "YES!" I reply.|[00:29.76] First mom tells me to get out the cooking stuff;|[00:32.80] so I get out the mixer and bowl, the measuring cups|[00:35.98] and spoons and the cookie sheets.|[00:37.53] Then she tells me to get out the recipe book.|[00:40.08] I remind her|[00:41.20] that the recipe is on the chocolate chip package.|[00:43.63] "Right," she says.|[00:44.93] Then she asks me to look at the recipe|[00:46.74] and get out the things we need:|[00:48.17] like flour, sugar and butter.|[00:50.16] We set the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.|[00:53.89] Then, we mix all of the flour and other stuff|[00:57.13] (ingredients) together.|[00:58.62] Last, we add the chocolate chips.|[01:00.86] We drop the batter by big teaspoons full|[01:03.53] onto the cookie sheets.|[01:04.90] We set the timer for 12 minutes and just sit back|[01:08.01] and enjoy the good smell!|[01:09.52] The buzzer rings.|[01:10.88] We take the cookies out.|[01:12.38] Oh, do they look good!|[01:13.81] We don't even wait for them to cool down.|[01:16.30] Both Mom and I get a big glass of cold milk|[01:19.16] and two big warm cookies each.|[01:21.03] Yum!
