[00:00.43]Air Plane Ride|[00:02.23] Tasha signed a piece of paper|[00:03.79] which gave her a chance to win a free air plane ride.|[00:06.77] She put her name, address and telephone number|[00:10.19] on that piece of paper.|[00:11.69] A few days later she got a telephone call.|[00:14.86] It was the man that was holding the ticket draw.|[00:17.54] Tasha didn't think she would win,|[00:19.84] but the man on the telephone said she did!|[00:22.51] She listened as the man told her|[00:24.94] where she would have to go to get her free air plane ride.|[00:27.98] She had to go near the town of Grimsby.|[00:30.66] She was allowed to pick a friend|[00:33.09] to go with her on the air plane ride.|[00:34.83] Tasha was so happy!|[00:36.63] She asked her twin sister Tawnya to go with her.|[00:39.93] Tawnya was very excited! Neither of them|[00:43.16] had been on an air plane before.|[00:44.84] When they got to the air plane centre,|[00:47.15] Tasha and Tawnya were nervous.|[00:49.57] They knew the air plane was small|[00:51.75] so that meant only the pilot and them|[00:53.43] were going to be in the plane.|[00:55.67] Their mom took a picture of them|[00:57.85] beside the plane before they left.|[00:59.77] Tasha and Tawnya hopped into the plane.|[01:02.76] They put their seatbelts on and got ready for take-off.|[01:06.37] Tasha got to sit in the very front, right beside the pilot.|[01:10.41] Tawnya sat behind Tasha.|[01:12.77] The girls laughed nervously|[01:14.77] as the plane started rolling down the runway.|[01:17.38] They went faster and faster, trees passing by quickly.|[01:21.05] There was a powerful surge|[01:23.41] making everyone's head jerk back.|[01:25.47] The plane started lifting off the ground.|[01:28.14] Up, up, and away!|[01:30.63] They were up off the ground and flying high in the sky!|[01:34.17] It seemed as though they could get anywhere|[01:36.53] within a matter of seconds.|[01:38.09] They flew from Grimsby to Beamsville|[01:40.77] where they saw their high school.|[01:42.39] Then, on to St. Catharines and then Niagara Falls.|[01:45.56] They even flew over top of their house!|[01:48.04] They took pictures of their house.|[01:50.66] They could see their pond from way up there, too.|[01:53.27] The pilot asked Tasha if she wanted to fly the plane.|[01:57.13] "Sure!" Tasha said.|[01:58.93] So, Tasha took the steering handle and began to fly the plane.|[02:02.73] She didn't really know how to fly it,|[02:04.90] so when she pulled the handle down,|[02:06.83] the plane shot upward.|[02:08.89] Both of the girls squealed.|[02:10.31] Tasha levelled the plane and flew smoothly from then on.|[02:14.24] Soon it was time to go back to Grimsby.|[02:17.34] The pilot took over again.|[02:19.65] We braced ourselves as the landing strip got nearer.|[02:23.19] The landing went smoothly with Tasha and Tawnya|[02:26.05] beaming as they looked out at the ground.|[02:28.17] They hopped off of the plane, thanked the pilot|[02:31.22] and ran to tell their mom about their wonderful experience.
